This Magnetic Card Reader is a durable designed Hi-Co./Lo-Co.magnetic card reader & writer with a MTBF. figure of 95,000 hours and the durability of one million swipes on magnetic head! itreads and writes up to three tracks of information with a single swipe. This Hi-co. & Lo-co. configurable encoder is specially designed for value add resellers (VARs) and system integrators (SIs). It supports a rich set of commands to interoperate with a Windows based software utility.
Its easy-to-use programming utility is not only capable of write the magnetic cards in just standard ISO format, but also support for non-ISO card reading and writing such as customizing BPC. (Bit per Character) on each ISO tracks so that track 2 or 3 can support alphanumeric characters as well for non-ISO applications. This card writing utility also provide with many other useful functions which include single/batch copy of cards, erase card, serial number incremental encoding, and etc... Ideal for club membership card and Retail/Point-of-Sale applications.
